CHICAGO, Ill. - This weekend's season-opening trip to Jacksonville, Illinois for the Illinois Tech baseball team has been cancelled due to weather conditions. Tech was originally scheduled to play Saturday and Sunday contests against Elmhurst College and Lawrence University.
Additional contests may be added to the 2019 schedule in lieu of this weekend's cancellations. Stay tuned to www.illinoistechathletics.com for those updates.
Baseball is now set to open the 2019 season on Saturday, March 9 with a doubleheader at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, taking on host RHIT (10:00 a.m.) and MacMurray College (1:00 p.m.).
