Tech Places Twelve on LAC All-Championship Team

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – After a strong showing at the Liberal Arts Championship (LAC) meet, Illinois Tech had several student-athletes named to the LAC’s All-Championship team this week. A total of 12 Scarlet Hawks (five women, seven men) earned the distinction, which requires placing in the top three of an individual event or a relay at the meet.

Below are members of Tech’s swimming and diving teams that earned the distinction, which each event the individual qualified in denoted by parentheses.

Men

Illinois Institute of Technology

In all, the LAC had a total of 75 athletes earn the distinction of being named to the All-Championship team – 35 women and 40 men.  They represent 11 different schools – 9 schools were represented on the women’s side and 6 schools on the men’s side. 

Illinois Tech placed second on the men’s side and third on the women’s side at the LAC Championships.
