Scarlet Hawk Weekly - Men's Soccer's Heavy Home Slate

CHICAGO, Ill. – The first week of October will bring another busy week for Scarlet Hawk Athletics.

Women’s Tennis kicks off the week on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. when they host Wisconsin-Whitewater.  Then, three games in three days on the road awaits with matches at Judson on Saturday (9:00 a.m.), at North Central on Sunday (10:08 a.m.) and at Carthage on Monday at 4:00pm.

Coming off their second annual Scarlet Hawk Invite in which they dropped two matches, Women’s Volleyball will look to rebound with two matches this week: Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m. on the road at Alverno and a Saturday home match at the Keating Sports Center vs. Alma at 1:00 p.m.

Live audio, video, and stats will be available for Saturday’s home match. The live audio will be powered by Illinois Media School.

Men’s Soccer also opens up a busy week with three matches, all at Stuart Field, after earning two wins last week over Maranatha (3-2) and Ripon (2-0):


               - WEDNESDAY – 7:00 p.m. vs. Concordia-Chicago
               - SATURDAY – 5:00 p.m. vs Maranatha
               - MONDAY – 3:00 p.m. vs. Grace Bible

Women’s Soccer will play Thursday at home vs. Rockford (7:00 p.m.) before traveling to Indiana on Saturday to take on St. Mary of the Woods at 10:00 a.m. CT (11:00 a.m. EST). The team is riding good momentum after taking two of out three matches last week, including a 3-0 shutout victory over Knox on Sunday.

After strong showings at the Wisconsin Lutheran Warrior Invite, Men’s and Women’s Cross Country will travel to Warrenville for the Eagle Invite hosted by Benedictine University on Friday. The meet will begin at 4:00 p.m. for the women and 4:45 p.m. for the men.
