CHICAGO, Ill. – For the first time in over a month, Illinois Tech athletics will have no home contests over the next week. However, the spring sports teams will still be busy, as Baseball, Women’s Lacrosse, and Men’s and Women’s Track and Field will all play away from 31st and State Street. Live coverage links for each contest (if made available by the opposing school) can be found at each team’s schedule page at www.illinoistechathletics.com.

Women’s Lacrosse (12-1, 7-0) has a light week, but looks to remain one of two unbeaten teams in the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference on Thursday afternoon. The Scarlet Hawks will travel to nearby Concordia University Chicago for a 1:00 p.m. conference contest.

Baseball swept all four home games this past weekend against Maranatha Baptist, with a Kyle Bumpass no-hitter in Friday’s first game and a Zachary Dickey walk-off home run in Saturday’s second game highlighting the sweep. The Scarlet Hawks will have a chance to build off the success with a Tuesday game at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, Michigan at 4:00 p.m. eastern time (3:00 p.m. central time), a Friday doubleheader at 3:00 p.m. at Marian University in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and a Saturday doubleheader at 12:00 p.m. at Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Men’s and Women’s Track and Field will continue its outdoor season by competing in the two-day Benedictine University Relays at nearby BenU on Friday and Saturday. The meet is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. on Friday and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
