CHICAGO, Ill. – This week, Illinois Tech Athletics sees all five Scarlet Hawk teams competing late in the week.
Women’s Volleyball will be hosting the Scarlet Hawk Invite this weekend on Friday and Saturday. Friday will see the Scarlet Hawks facing off against Olivet at 3 p.m. and Principia at 7 p.m. Saturday will also have two contests with the first starting at 10 a.m. against UC Clermont and the second at 2 p.m. against Eureka.
Every match in the tournament will have live statistics available on both www.illinoistechathletics.com as well as the Scarlet Hawks Front Row app. There will be video for all Scarlet Hawk matches, but no audio for those matches.
Men’s Soccer also has only one match this week, but will be at home on Friday to host Andrews at 3 p.m. This will be the third time in as many years the Scarlet Hawks will play Andrews, with Tech winning 10-1 two years ago and Andrews winning last year 3-2.
A live webcast and live statistics will be available on both www.illinoistechathletics.com as well as the Scarlet Hawks Front Row app. The live webcast will be powered by Illinois Media School.
Women’s Soccer has only one contest this week as the team will travel to Maranatha Baptist in Watertown, Wisconsin on Friday. The game will start at 4 p.m. and The Scarlet Hawks will look to improve to 4-0 against Maranatha Baptist in the last four years.
Men’s & Women’s Cross Country will be in action come Saturday morning. Both teams will compete in the Wartburg College Dan Huston Invite in Waverly, Iowa. The meet will start at 10:45 a.m.
