Tech Swimming and Diving Raises Cancer Awareness

CHICAGO, Ill. – Illinois Tech’s men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams are partnering with Amazing Grace Organization, a non-profit foundation providing financial support for clinical trials that focus on treating Osteosarcoma and financial assistance to families fighting the battle against pediatric cancer.

The organization was founded by Grace Waller, a former NCAA Division I swimmer and high school standout in Illinois. Diagnosed with Osteosarcoma prior to attending college, Waller is a survivor and has worked toward raising awareness Osteosarcoma through Amazing Grace. “We are proud to support an organization like Amazing Grace and to continue to find ways to create awareness for cancer research through our sport,” said Head Coach Kyllian Griffin. “It is a true privilege to participate in events such as this, and we will do all we can to help fight cancer!”
