Scarlet Hawk Weekly: Busy Road Week for Women’s Basketball

CHICAGO, Ill. – The Illinois Tech athletic department has yet another busy week ahead, as five athletic teams will be in action over the next seven days. Live coverage links for all listed event can be found on each sport’s schedule page at www.illinoistechathletics.com.

The week begins with a basketball doubleheader at Maranatha Baptist on Tuesday. Both the Women’s Basketball and Men’s Basketball teams will play at the Watertown, Wisconsin school. The women’s game will begin at 5:00 p.m., while the men are set to play at 7:00 p.m. Maranatha will provide live video of the contest.

Women’s Basketball will also be in action the very next day, playing at Trine University in Angola, Indiana for another 5:00 p.m. tip-off. Trine will provide live video and stats of the game. On Saturday, Tech will play a 12:00 p.m. game at Carthage College. Live video and stats will be available for this road contest as well.

Men’s Volleyball will play at home on Thursday night, hosting Calumet College of St. Joseph for a 7:00 p.m. match. Live audio, statistics, and video will be available for the event. The live audio will be powered by Illinois Media School.  Tech will also play in a tri-match on Saturday at Trinity Christian, taking on the host Trolls at 12:00 p.m. before opposing Mount Mercy at 2:00 p.m. TC will provide live video and stats of both contests.

Men’s Basketball will host the University of Dubuque on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in the Keating Sports Center. Tech will provide live video and stats of the game, with the live audio being powered by Illinois Media School.

Men’s and Women’s Track and Field will compete at the University of Chicago Phoenix Invite on Saturday at 8:30 a.m. as well. This will be the first of two consecutive meets Tech will compete in at U Chicago.
