Men’s Basketball Falls to Wabash for the Second Time this Season

Wabash, IN- The Scarlet Hawks Men's Basketball team took on Wabash for the second time this season in a home and away schedule and like the first time around, Wabash had the upper hand on the Scarlet Hawks. In their first meeting Illinois Tech fell to Wabash 69-35. The second meeting yielded a similar result with Wabash winning 71-25.

The Scarlet Hawks struggled to get much going on offense scoring 15 points in the first half while Wabash was efficient on offense putting up 39. Wabash came into the game with the plan to slow down the Scarlet Hawks super sophomore Samuel Rarick and were very effective in doing so, holding Rarick to 4 points at the half and a season low 6 total points. 

Wabash outscored the Scarlet Hawks 32-10 in the second half which led to a 71-25 victory. Manish Suthar led the way for the Scarlet Hawks with 12 points.
