CHICAGO, Ill. - The Illinois Tech men's soccer team has announced its 2017 recuriting class. This year's talent features nine student-athletes, all of whom Head Coach Marc Colwell feels can make a significant impact on the program.

The recruiting class includes four players from Illinois, two players from Pennsylvania, and one player each from Indiana, Michigan, and Brazil. The nine-member class consists of three backs, two forwards, two midfield/backs, a midfielder and a goalkeeper.

"I am excited to add nine high-level student-athletes to the men's soccer team and to the university," said Colwell. "Our plan was to bring in a deep recruiting class and we succeeded with a talented and balanced group. We filled needs in several areas, including center back, midfield and forward.
