CHICAGO, Ill. - Brandon Bortei-Doku has been named the Association of Division III Independents' Men's Soccer Player of the Week for action spanning the start of the season through September 10.
The junior adds the honor to an impressive week. After recording a goal and four assists in Illinois Tech's two wins this past week, the native of Ghana was the male recepient of Illinois Tech's Scarlet Hawk of the Week award on Monday, highlighting standout performers in the department over the week's action. The AD3I honor is Bortei-Doku's first weekly award from either the association or the USCAA in his career. He is also the AD3I's first Men's Soccer Player of the Week of the season.
Men's soccer is in action again tomorrow (Wednesday) at 3:00 p.m. central time at Defiance College in Defiance, Ohio.
