OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - On Tuesday, the Association of Division III Independents announced its Players of the Week for October 16-22. Brandon Bortei-Doku has earned the honor for men's soccer., marking the second time this season he had received the award
The junior midfielder from Ghana totaled a goal and two assists in Illinois Tech's two wins this past week. Bortei-Doku scored the game-winning goal against Moody Bible on Wednesday while also adding an assist. He contributed another assist in the 3-0 shutout over Finlandia on Saturday.
