Nathan McMahon has joined the men’s soccer coaching staff as an Assistant Coach. McMahon played four years for Illinois Tech from 2010-2014 as a midfielder and defender.  

A strong student and one of the leaders on the men’s soccer team, McMahon was named a captain during his junior year. During McMahon’s senior season, Illinois Tech finished 13-5-1 and made the USCAA National Tournament.

McMahon graduated with a degree in Biomedical Engineering at Illinois Tech in May 2014 and is currently working at University Illinois at Chicago where he does digital pathology research. He will pursue his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at Illinois Tech starting in August 2017 with a focus on medical imaging research to improve diagnoses and outcomes of cancer patients.
