Dimitri Tsoukalas beings his first year as an assistant men’s soccer coach for Illinois Tech.

Tsoukalas is a native of Gilberts, Illinois and attended Huntley High School. He attended Trinity International University from 2012-2016 and received his Bachelors in Sport and Wellness Management along with minors in coaching and fitness specialist.

Tsoukalas was a four-year member and two-year starter for Trinity International University’s men’s soccer program. TIU qualified for the NCCAA regional playoff in 2015.

After graduating, Tsoukalas stayed on as an assistant with the men’s program and helped the program qualify for the CCAC tournament in 2016. He helped with all aspects of recruiting, scouting and session planning during his two-year period with the program.

Tsoukalas also worked with Chicago Rush North Soccer Club from 2016-2018, gaining valuable coaching experience and working with players of all ages and levels. He currently works with FC United -Trevian Soccer Club in Glenview, Illinois. He possesses a USSF National C License and US Youth Soccer National Youth Coaching Diploma. He is also a certified personal trainer.
