Men's Tennis Moves Win Streak to Seven

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - On the campus of the University of Notre Dame, the Illinois Tech men's tennis team moved to 7-3 on the season with a Sunday victory against Holy Cross. The win was Tech's seventh consecutive victory.

Match Highlights

  • The Scarlet Hawks were strong in doubles, winning in the second and third spots. Franklin Zhong and Brody Croonquist won 8-5 in the second spot, while Mike Rivich and Andrew Woltman were 8-2 victors out of the third spot.
  • Zhong was also impressive in #1 singles, winning 6-2, default.
  • Adam Laitinen followed suit in the #4 singles spot with a 6-1, 6-1 win.
  • Croonquist (#5 singles, 6-1, 6-1) and Jack Pio (#6 singles, 4-6, 6-0, 1-0) were victorious as well.
