Men's Tennis Drops Two Saturday

CHICAGO, Ill. - The Illinois Tech men's tennis team hosted a pair of matches at XS Tennis on Saturday, falling to both Principia and Lake Forest by scores of 8-1 to move to 8-11 on the season.
 
How it Happened - Principia Match
  • The Hawks were downed 3-0 in doubles despite Yousef Abdo and Adam Laitinen playing well as the #1 doubles pairing (8-6).
    Connor Mullane earned the lone singles win in the #6 spot (6-1, 6-2).
How it Happened - Lake Forest Match
  • Tech went 1-2 in the doubles portion of the contests, with Abishek Rana and Brian Ma winning 8-6 in the third spot.
    Lake Forest was dominant in singles, winning all six matches. Andrew Woltman was the closest to victory in five singles, playing to a three-set tiebreaker.
