Croonquist Nets Men’s Tennis More NACC Honors

FULL NACC RELEASE

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Illinois Tech men's tennis team has made weekly awards a habit this season, with five different student-athletes earning the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference's (NACC) Student-Athlete of the Week award. The fifth honoree was named today, as Brody Croonquist was selected by the league's sports information directors for the week of April 8-14.

In Tech's dominant weekend that included conference victories over MSOE (8-1) and Edgewood (9-0), Croonquist was a big reason why the Scarlet Hawks build its conference-leading lead. The Minnesota native paired with Davis Housman for two 8-3 wins in No. 2 doubles. In addition, he was a 6-1, 6-1 winner in No. 6 singles against MSOE.

Men's Tennis is back in action on Saturday with NACC tilts at Concordia-Chicago (10:00 a.m.) and Dominican (2:00 p.m.).
