Men’s Track and Field Finishes In 7th Place at F. Lee Slick Invitational Friday

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The Illinois Tech men's track & field competed at the F. Lee Slick Invitational Friday and finished in seventh place and had 19 total team points.

Scarlet Hawk Standouts

  • Saisaketh Valluri won the 60m dash qualifying race with his time of 7.53 seconds.
  • Barry Brookins finished in second place at the weight throw with a score of 13.94 and highest throw at 45-9.
  • Cole Dammeier ran the one mile race with a time of 4:35.36.
  • Juan Flores-Salazar competed in the 400m race for the Scarlet Hawks, finishing the race with a time of 57.19.
  • Evan Balizado had a top five finish in the 800 meter run, finishing in fourth place and had a time of 2:00.66.
  • Anthony Tuman finished in the top 10 of the 800 meter run with a time of 2:01.62.
  • Illinois Tech ran the 4x400 meter relay with a time of 3:36.78.
