Dammeier Breaks School Record To Begin Outdoor Track and Field Season

SAINT LOUIS, Mo. -- The Illinois Tech men's and women's track and field began their outdoor season at the Washington University in St. Louis Invite which included distance races.

Men's Results
Cole Dammeier broke the Illinois Tech men's track and field 10000 meter race school record after finishing with a time of 32:35.814. Julian Go ran the 5000 meter race at 16:23.18. 

Women's Results
Erin Nelson ran the 5000 meter run for the Scarlet Hawks and crossed the finish line at 23:33.41.

Illinois Tech returns to the track tomorrow, March 30 as the Scarlet Hawks compete in the Augustana College Viking Olympics starting at 11 a.m. CT.
