CHICAGO, Ill. - The Illinois Tech men's volleyball program has released its recruiting class for the upcoming season. It features six student-athletes, all of whom Head Coach Katie Reifert thinks will have a strong impact on the program.
"I think we definitley addressed all of our needs with this incoming class," said Reifert. "We have added depth to the back line as well as miuch needed experience and size to our offense. Each newcomer will make an immediate impact in our practice gym and make us a much more competitive program this coming season."

David Allen |
Position: Outside Hitter Year: Freshman Hometown: Chicago Ridge, Ill. High School: Harold L. Richards Club Team: Chicago Volleyball Club Major: Mechanical Engineering Coach Refiert's comments: "David is a tremendous athlete with strong court awareness and an offensive mentality that is definitely going to make our gym more competitive. He is a natural outside. I am excited to see him tested at the collegiate level."
