HIRAM, Ohio - On Friday, the Scarlet Hawks played the second of a four-match road trip, taking on Hiram College. Tech was dominant en route to a 3-0 win, moving to 12-15 on the season.

  • Tech 3, Hiram 0 (25-16, 25-16, 25-21)

How it Happened

  • After a 6-3 lead to start set one, the Scarlet Hawks controlled the rest of the set to go up 1-0
  • In set two, a big 8-3 run by Tech after the Terriers trailed by three (12-9) put the opponents away.
  • Set three was back-and-fourth with several ties. With the score tied at 21-21, the Scarlet Hawks closed things out on a 4-0 run.
