CHICAGO, Ill. – The Illinois Tech men's cross country team competed at Aurora University's Spartan Classic on Friday evening at the Oakhurst Forest Preserve in Aurora, Ill. Tech placed 13th out of 17 teams in the 8k race.

- Orlando Cardenas – 31st place (27:10)
- Cole Dammeier – 58th place (27:51)
- Jake Tracey – 85th place (30:04)
- Tom Triplett – 105th place (34:11)
- Sayeed Mohammed – 108th place (36:05)
Notes on the Race
- Cardenas, a freshman, led Tech for the second straight meet.
- The meet was won by the University of Chicago.
