VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Illinois Tech men's cross country team competed in the USCAA National Championships on Friday morning. The Scarlet Hawks placed 12 out of 22 eligible teams with some impressive performances.

- Cole Dammeier, 25th place (42nd overall), 27:33.0
- Jake Tracey, 58th place (100th overall), 29:20.0
- Tom Triplett, 116th place (216th overall), 34:52.0
- Jacob Christman, 139th place (355th overall), 43:00.0
Meet Notes
- The 12th place finish is one place better than Tech's 13th place finish at the 2015 USCAA National Championships.
- The race was one by SUNY Delhi.
- Isaiah Dodson of Berea College placed first individually with a time of 25:15.0.
