Two Named All-NACC as Men’s Cross Country Finishes 6th at NACC Championships

AURORA, Ill. – The Illinois Tech men's cross-country team finished in sixth place out of the 11 teams at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Championships at Oakhurst Forest Preserve Saturday.

The Scarlet Hawks finished with 129 team points for the event. Both Evan Balizado and Cole Dammeier were named All-Conference by the NACC.

Scarlet Hawk Runners

  • Leading the pack for Illinois Tech was Cole Dammeier in his last cross-country race, finishing in 12th place and ran the 8K race in 26:08.52.
  • Evan Balizado was the next finisher for the Scarlet Hawks as he finished in 15th place with a time of 26:22.83.
  • Julian Go finished next as he came in 19th place, crossing the finish line at 26:38.29.
  • Thomas Doyle came in 43rd place with a time of 28:15.81.
  • Wrapping up the scoring for Illinois Tech was Alden Diaz who finished in 45th place and had a time of 28:22.57.
