Men’s Cross Country Places Ninth at Wheaton

WARRENVILLE, Ill. - The Illinois Tech men's cross country team competed in the Wheaton College Gil Dodds Invite on a humid Saturday at St. James Farm. The Scarlet Hawks placed ninth in the event despite it being the third straight week of competition.

Meet Highlights

  • Julian Go once again led the way, pacing Tech with a 27:31.7 time (64tg)
  • Thomas Doyle was right on his heels, placing 67th with a time of 27:34.0 for another strong race.
  • Coming in third for the Scarlet Hawks was Evan Balizado (93rd, 28:10.5)
  • Freshman Louis Ketchman continues to build momentum for Tech, placing 102nd at 28:22.8.
  • Brendan Conroy also scored for the Scarlet Hawks with a 30:40.0 time (157th place).
