CHICAGO, Ill. – On Saturday afternoon, the Illinois Tech women's basketball team hosted North Park University. The Scarlet Hawks fell 86-33.
How it Happened
- North Park scored the contests' first 12 points and led 21-8 after the first quarter.
- The second quarter presented similar struggles for Tech, as the Scarlet Hawks hit just one field goal in the 10-minute span.
- The second half was much kinder to the Hawks offense. Tech totaled 21 points, 10 of which came courtesy of Erin Efimoff.
Scarlet Hawk Standouts
- Efimoff led the team with 14 points and 10 rebounds. It was her first double-double of the season. Five of her rebounds came on the offensive side. She also tallied two steals.
- Venika Jarvis added nine rebounds in a starting role.
