Chicago, Ill. - Some nights in basketball the basket looks like the size of a hula hoop. Other nights, the basket looks like the size of a bracelet. Unfortunately for the Illinois Tech women's basketball team, it was the latter Saturday afternoon at the Keating Sports Center, as the Scarlet Hawks lost big to Concordia University Wisconsin 77-32. The Scarlet Hawks dropped to 3-9 overall(0-6 NACC). The Falcons improved to 7-4(6-1 NACC).

The Hawks had some decent looks throughout the game, but only managed to shoot 19.7 percent from the field on 12-61 shooting. Coupled with the Falcons shooting over 50 percent, it made for a long day at the office for the Scarlet Hawks.

The second quarter saw the Falcons pull away, outscoring Illinois Tech 23-5 to take a halftime lead of 38-11. Julia Bucci led the Hawks in the quarter with five points.

In the third quarter, the Falcons kept up their attack, out-pacing the Hawks 21-7 to go into the final frame leading 59-18. Allie Sillo added four points for the Hawks.

The Hawks closed out the game with a stronger effort in the fourth quarter, scoring 14 points on 39 percent shooting. Still, the Falcons scored 18 points of their own to seal their 77-32 victory. Moton added six points and four rebounds in the last quarter.
