How it Happened

- Just even minutes later, Jamie Griggs took a deflection from a cross and fired it past Birner for Tech's third and final tally of the first half.
- More quick-strike offense occurred for Tech in the second half, as Cosette Thompson and Julia Taliana combined to feed each other on goals in a 35 second span.
- In the 64th minute, Taliana found Thompson on a great cross from right to left for the score. Under a minute later, Thompson returned the favor with a pass to the center of the offensive zone, which Taliana converted.
