DECORAH, Iowa – Illinois Tech's women's swimming and diving team had a light first day of competition at the Liberal Arts Championships, as just the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay was held at Luther College. After one event, Tech currently holds second place with 34 points.

Day One Highlights
- Tech was strong in the 800 Yard Freestyle Relay, as the group of Katherine Lydon, Kristin Wills, Delaney Shepherd, and Brigitte Temple placed second with a time of 8:05.84. Wednesday's time was nearly 13 seconds better than the group's seed time of 8:17.58.
Day Two Preview
- Thursday's events at the LAC Championships are set to be the 200 Yard Freestyle Relay, 500 Yard Freestyle, 200 Yard Individual Medley, 50 Yard Freestyle, and the 400 Yard Medley Relay. The 1 Meter Diving event will also take place.
- Preliminaries for these events will begin at 10:00 a.m., with the finals taking place at 6:00 p.m.
- Luther College will provide live video and live results for each of the day's events.
