Senior Captain Kristin Wills Wins 400 Individual Medley Race as Illinois Tech Competes Against Lewis

CHICAGO, Ill. -- Kristin Wills won the 400 Individual Medley Race with a time of 4:58.02 and teammates Megan Burrill and Katy Lydon followed right behind her and finished second and third place respectively as the Illinois Tech women's swimming and diving team put up a fight against NCAA Division II Lewis.

The Flyers defeated the Scarlet Hawks, 126-58, at Ekco Pool inside the Keating Sports Center, Friday.

Scarlet Hawk Standouts

  • Kristin Wills won the 400 Individual Medley race with a time of 4:58.02.
  • Megan Burrill came in second place in the 400 IM race with a time of 4:59.76.
  • Katy Lydon was able to be right behind them with a time of 4:59.92.
  • Maddie Lane finished as the runner up in the 100 yard freestyle race with her time of 1:06.51.
  • Ali Bajor was also able to finish as a runner up in the 100 yard backstroke as she finished at 1:11.28.
  • Claudia Flores picked up a second place finish with her 1:18.86 time in the 100 yard backstroke.
