RIVER FOREST, Ill. - The Illinois Tech women's track and field team competed at the Concordia University Chicago Cougar Invitational on Saturday. The Scarlet Hawks placed 15th at the meet.
Meet Highlights
- In the 100m dash, both Monica Bhagavan (19th place, 13.66s) and Mminika Effiong (21st place, 13.70s) stood out.
- Effiong was also strong in the long jump, placing 10th with a 4.58m mark.
- Julia Briden placed fifth in the 1000m, recording a time of 3:35.19.
- In the triple jump, Emmalee Ciriacks finished fifth at 9.90m.

- Illinois Tech will compete in its final meet of the season on Saturday, April 29. The Scarlet Hawks will head to Indiana to Partake in the Valapraiso University Crusader Open. The meet is set to begin at 10:30 a.m.
