Women’s Track and Field Wraps Up Day One of NACC Outdoor Championships

LISLE, Ill. – The Illinois Tech women's track and field competed at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Outdoor Championships on Friday in the first day of the two-day meet at the Village of Lisle-Benedictine University Sports Complex. Tech did not record a team score.

Meet Highlights

  • In the 800m, Zoey Krevitz finished in 15th place at 2:52.29, an improvement of over three seconds on her seed time.
  • Masha Staub was great in the 100m, placing 14th at 13.83s and improving .08s from her seed time. Mminika Effiong also competed, placing 20th at 15.07s.
  • Both Staub and Effiong also raced in the 200m, with Staub placing 15th (28.60s) and Effiong coming in 19th (29.10s).
