Women’s Track and Field Places Tenth NACC Outdoor Championships

LISLE, Ill. – The Illinois Tech men's track and field finished up at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Outdoor Championships on Saturday at the Village of Lisle-Benedictine University Sports Complex. The Scarlet Hawks finished the meet in a tie for tenth place with a total of two points.

Meet Highlights - Saturday

  • After competing in two events on Friday, Mminika Effiong scored for Tech on Saturday in the long jump. She placed seventh in the event with a 4.99m mark.
  • Erin Nelson competed for Tech in the 5,000m, placing 11th at 22:12.66.
