ST. MARY OF THE WOODS, Ind. – The Illinois Tech women's volleyball team took on some of the USCAA's top teams on Saturday, squaring off against last year's champion Florida College and runner-up St. Mary of the Woods. Tech fell 3-0 to Florida College before dropping the match to SMOW 3-1.

Scarlet Hawk Standouts
- Taylor Burton was named all-tournament team and really stood out against St. Mary of the Woods, tallying 17 kills and four total blocks (two solo, two assisted).
- Sara Hassell finished off a strong weekend with 19 kills and 11 digs against SMOW.
- Natalie Freund had 22 assists against SMOW.
- Reya Green's 16 digs led the team in the SMOW match.
