Reya Green enters her third season as a graduate assistant women's volleyball coach at Illinois Tech in 2020-21. Green is pursuing a master’s degree in industrial and organizational psychology.

A recent Illinois Tech graduate with a bachelor of science degree in psychology, the four-year member of the women's volleyball team finished her collegiate career as one of the most decorated back row players in program history. During Green’s time as a Scarlet Hawk, she was captain for two-consecutive seasons and won the USCAA Female Student-Athlete of the Year (2017), Illinois Tech's Ed Glancy Female Athlete Award (2018), SAAC's Unsung Hero Award (2018), USCAA National All-Academic Team honors (2016 & 2017), Association of Division III Independent First Team selections (2016 & 2017), and Illinois Tech women's volleyball's excellence in sport award (2016 & 2017). The Scarlet Hawks reached the USCAA National Championships in her junior and senior seasons. She is also third all-time in program history in digs with 1,115.

Outside of athletics, Green excelled in the classroom and was named to the Dean’s List seven-straight semesters. She was an active member of Kappa Phi Delta, Treasurer of Order of Omega (2017-18), Treasurer of Student Athlete Advisory Committee (2017-18), a research assistant, and an athletic department student worker.

Prior to college, the Colorado native graduated from Eagle Valley High School in the top five percent of her class, where she played volleyball, soccer, and tae kwon do.
