Joe Rekruciak enters his seventh year as an athletic trainer for the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks. Joe is originally from Lemont, Ill. where he attended Lemont Township High School.  Joe then graduated from Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Kinesiology/Athletic Training in 2010.  While attending NIU, Joe worked at Kaneland High School for all sports programs during the fall season of 2008.  In 2009 he worked at Geneva High School for both the spring and fall sports programs.  Beginning the spring of 2010, Joe worked at Moraine Valley Community College with both the men's and women's basketball programs and well as baseball and softball.  Joe also worked as the assistant athletic trainer for the Chicago Rush Arena Football Team for the 2011, 2012, and 2013 seasons.
