WAUKESHA, WIS.—The Illinois Institute of Technology baseball team came in at No. 8 on the 2020 Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Baseball Preseason Poll that was released on Thursday afternoon. The Scarlet Hawks notched 141 points on the poll that was voted by sports information directors and coaches around the NACC.
Seven-time defending NACC Regular Season Champion Concordia University Chicago claimed the top spot on the poll with 272 points and 12 first-place votes.
The Scarlet Hawks will open their 2020 season at No. 7 Washington University (Mo.) (DH) on Saturday, February 29 at 12:00 p.m under fourth-year head coach Ed Zeifert. Check back in the coming weeks for a full 2020 season preview.
