2019-20 D3HOOPS.COM MEN'S All-CENTRAL REGION TEAM
CHICAGO—Illinois Institute of Technology senior center Max Hisatake landed a spot on the 2019-20 D3hoops.com Men's All-Central Region Third Team on Tuesday morning. Hisatake is the first Scarlet Hawk in program history to earn the distinction.
The Las Vegas, Nevada native's all-region nod comes on the heels of a season that included 15.6 points per game and 13.9 rebounds per game over 26 starts. Hisatake pulled down a career-high 20 rebounds on three occasions, and a career-high 34 points in a 71-67 win over Lakeland on January 11. The big man finished the season ranked nationally in defensive rebounds per game (4th, 10.50), double doubles (5th, 20) rebounds per game (4th, 13.9) and total rebounds (4th, 362). Hisatake also paced the NACC in blocked shots per game (2.15), offensive rebounds per game (3.42), and led his team in shooting with a .533 (160-300) field goal mark.
Hisatake, a two-time NACC Defensive Player of the Year, finished his four-year career with 1,276 points and 1,154 rebounds.
The Scarlet Hawks concluded the 2019-20 campaign with a 12-14, 10-10 NACC record.
