MILWAUKEE, Wis. (naccsports.org) --- Illinois Institute of Technology senior Otis Reale (Rome, Italy) has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 7-13, 2022, as selected by the league's sports information directors.

Reale, a guard, averaged 27.7 points, 2.7 assists, 2.3 rebounds, and 0.7 steals per game while shooting 63.3 percent (31-of-49) from the field as the Scarlet Hawks posted a perfect 3-0 mark last week. He scored 28 points on 11-of-19 shooting with three 3-pointers in a 71-53 win over Concordia Chicago on Feb. 7, then erupted for a career-high 40 points on 14-of-20 shooting and three more 3-pointers as IIT defeated Dominican on Feb. 9. Reale capped the week with 15 points, three rebounds, and four assists in a 68-59 win over Wisconsin Lutheran on Feb. 12.

He finished the week shooting 7-of-10 from behind the arc and a perfect 14-of-14 at the free-throw line.
