Ryan Shaw enters his second season as Illinois Tech assistant men's lacrosse coach in 2021.

Shaw was previously the assistant men's lacrosse coach at Robert Morris University (Ill.), a position he held for two seasons (2018-2019). Prior to Robert Morris, Shaw served a three-season stint as head boy's lacrosse coach at Lane Tech College Prep School (Ill.) (2015-2017). 

Shaw obtained his bachelor of arts degree in philosophy and religious studies from Virginia Wesleyan College.
