• While possession favored Tech, it was a relatively quiet first half for both sides. Things changed in the 28th minute when Norikazu Honda notched his first goal of the season off of free kick to give the Scarlet Hawks a 1-0 lead.
• An Emmanuel Zambrano bicycle kick in front of the net missed just high in the final minutes of the half, allowing the halftime score to remain the same.
• In the middle of the second half, Noah Griffith narrowly missed a shot through a tight window, hitting the left of the goal and bouncing back into play.
• Tech scored again in the 82nd minute, as a Honda cross in front of the net set up Zambrano for the goal.

• Honda scored once on five shots while also adding an assist. He also tallied two shots on goal.
• Zambrano scored once on two shots.
• Anastasios Manolis stopped one shots in net and won his third straight match.
