CHICAGO, Ill. - The Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks hosted Elmhurst College on Friday night. The Bluejays bested Tech 3-0.
How it Happened
- Elmhurst was able to tack on an early goal in the 17th minute, as Sam Johnson scored his first of two goals of the match off of a Lucas Wetherby corner kick.
- The Scarlet Hawks defense would hold strong for the rest of the first half.
- In the second half, Johnson struck early. He took a JD Garnett pass for a score to increase the Elmhurst lead to two in the 48th minute.
- Andrew Hicks scored the third and final goal of the match in the 54th minute. It was of the unassisted variety.

- Emmanuel Zambrano, Diego Gutierrez Coronel, Zach Whritenour, and Santiago Bartolome all attempted shots for the Scarlet Hawks.
- Alex Kern made six stops in net for Tech.
