CHICAGO, Ill. - The Illinois Tech men's soccer team has announced its 2018 recuriting class. For the second year in a row, Marc Colwell's group features nine student-athletes that figure to enhance an already strong Scarlet Hawks roster.
The recruiting class includes four players from Illinois, and one player each from Indiana, Maryland, Wisconsin, North Dakota, and Florida. This year's group also features great versatility, with depth at defense, midfield, and forward.
"These nine student-athletes will be a great addition to the team and the university," said Colwell. "We have a strong returning group and I look forward to the competition that will be created."

The Illinois Tech men's soccer team released its 2018 schedule on Monday. The team looks to build off of a strong season, finishing 14-5-1 overall with a .725 win percentage last Fall. All home matches this year are expected to have live audio, video, and statistics. All live audio will be powered by Illinois Media School.
The Scarlet Hawks will also play a five-match varsity reserve schedule, which can be found here. Live coverage will not be available for varsity reserve contests.
