LAKE GENEVA, WIS.—The Illinois Institute of Technology men's tennis team embarked on the Lake Geneva Tennis Center on Saturday, where they squared-off against UW-Whitewater. The Scarlet Hawks dropped a 9-0 decision to head coach Erik Scanlan's alma mater.
The Scarlet Hawks fall to 1-3, 0-0 NACC while the Warhawks improve to 3-1.

Brody Croonquist/Davis Housman kicked-off the day with an 8-3 loss to Alex Gray/Danila Borovykh in #1 doubles. Alann Torres/Roman Shishlov fell 8-3 to Rory Calabria/Zach Wood in the #2 slot while Andy Fang/Yousef Abdo dropped an 8-2 decision to Noah Guillermo/Cole Lindwall in #3 doubles.
Abdo was competitive in #3 singles, where he dropped a 6-1, 4-6, 6-1 score to Calabria. The remaining Scarlet Hawks singles lineup fell in two sets en route to a 9-0 loss.
IIT will return to action on Friday, February 14 at North Central College (Ill.). Match time is set for 5:00 p.m.
