Men’s Track and Field Places Ninth at Benedictine Invite

LISLE, Ill. – The Illinois Tech men's track and field team competed at the Benedictine University Invite on Saturday. In a strong meet, the Scarlet Hawks placed ninth with a total of 26 points.

Meet Highlights

  • In the 400 Meter Dash, Brendan Batliner placed second with a time of 50.80s.
  • Cole Dammeier's top even was the 3000 Meter Run, finishing with a 9:18.28 time (sixth place).
  • Ryan Fagan was awesome in the high jump, placing fourth at 1.70m.
  • Tech's 4x400 Meter Relay team (third place, 3:38.51) and 4x100 Meter Relay team (46.15s) earned points.
