O'Donnell Puts On Clinic in Loss at Falcons

MEQUON—The Illinois Institute of Technology women's basketball team made the 95-mile trek north to Mequon, Wisconsin to take on Concordia University (Wis.) on Wednesday night. Shannon O'Donnell put on a clinic for the Scarlet Hawks with a season-high 26 points along with eight rebounds, but it wasn't enough in a 97-43 loss to the Falcons.

IIT falls to 0-15, 0-10 NACC while CUW improves to 9-6, 8-3 NACC.

O'Donnell accounted for 60 percent of the Scarlet Hawks' scoring while Erin Efimoff chipped in nine points, followed by Erin Nelson's six. O'Donnell, who dished a trio of assists, shot 10-23 from the floor. 

The Falcons, who broke a single-game program record with 29 assists, saw minutes from 11 players while 10 of them chipped in points. Four eclipsed double figures, led by Clara Chambers' 17 points. 

The Scarlet Hawks will return to action on Saturday, January 25 at home against Rockford University at 4:15 p.m.
