Scarlet Hawks End 2019-20 Season at Rockford

ROCKFORD, ILL.—The Illinois Institute of Technology women's basketball team's 2019-20 season finale pitted them at Rockford University on Saturday. The Scarlet Hawks outscored Rockford 22-17 in the second quarter, but couldn't equate that going forward as they dropped an 84-56 decision to the Regents.

IIT ends the season with an 0-25, 0-20 NACC record while Rockford closes their campaign with a 4-21, 2-18 NACC mark.

The Scarlet Hawks bid farewell to seniors Erin Efimoff and Madison Davis

Shannon O'Donnell paced the Scarlet Hawks with 20 points and seven rebounds while Erin Nelson followed with 12. Brooke Rowan rounded out the IIT players in double figures with 10 points, while Efimoff wasn't far behind with nine along with a team-high six assists and seven boards.

Emily Cox, who notched a game-high 38 points and eight assists, commanded a Rockford unit that shot 33-of-59 (.559) as a team with a 15-of-26 figure of her own. Linzy Keller added 22 points for the Regents while Neve York notched a double double with 10 points and 16 rebounds.
