River Forest, Ill. - The Illinois Tech women's basketball team closed out conference play with a 53-39 loss at Dominican University Tuesday night in River Forest, Illinois. The Scarlet Hawks fell to 5-18 overall (2-15 NACC). The Stars improved to 6-17 overall (5-12 NACC).
The Hawks were able to take the first quarter 11-7, with four players scoring and the Hawks taking advantage of five Stars turnovers.
Dominican responded with a 22-11 second quarter, heading into the break leading 29-22.
The Hawks improved their play in the third frame, but Dominican still outscored the Hawks 14-10 to build an 11-point lead after three.
Both teams struggled to score in the final quarter, with the Hawks only able to put up seven points to Dominican's 14 points.

- Julia Bucci and Deriniece Moton each finished with 13 points, with Moton pulling down eight rebounds and Bucci seven rebounds.
- Allie Sillo added five points and five rebounds.
- Catherine Klemp finished with four points and four rebounds.

- Sophia Warner paced the Stars with 16 points and three steals.
- Alisha Markley had 12 points and nine rebounds.
