Anna Slominski Named CSCAA All-American

CSCAA RELEASE

CHICAGO—Illinois Institute of Technology women's swimming & diving freshman Anna Slominski was named to the 2019-20 College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division III All-American Team on Wednesday. Due to the cancellation of the 2020 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championship, the CSCAA Board adjusted the selection criteria for each Division. In Division III, selections are based upon those individuals and relays selected to the championship and are members of the CSCAA.

Slominski, a native of Fredricksburg, Virginia, qualified for the 2019-20 NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championship in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:04.04 at the Liberal Arts Championship, which went down as a facility and meet record. She also qualified for nationals in the 200 yard breaststroke as a "B" cut with a time of 2:20.20 achieved at the Liberal Arts Championship, also a school record. 

Slominski also achieved school records in the 200 yard medley relay (1:48.56), the 400 yard medley relay (3:57.03) and the 200 yard individual medley (2:06.87, Facility/Meet Record) at the Liberal Arts Championship. The Scarlet Hawks took third place at the Liberal Arts Championship with 419 points.
