Agatha Kwasnik begins her first season as an assistant swimming coach for the men’s and women’s programs in 2018-19.

Kwasnik competed competitively at Division 1 Georgia Institute of Technology.  A four-year member of the team, she was the women’s captain for three seasons and an academic all-American all four seasons.  In 2008, Kwasnik qualified for NCAA D1 nationals with an A-cut of 49.39 in the 100 Free and B-cuts of 22.88 and 1:47.40 in the 50 Free and 200 Free respectively.  Her success that year led her to qualify for Olympic Trials with a time of 57.11 LCM in the 100 Free.

Currently, Kwasnik works as a clinical engineer assisting medical physicians.  Her specialization is in biomedical 3D mapping equipment used during electrophysiology ablation procedures.  In her spare time, Kwasnik enjoys training for triathlons and traveling the globe.  Her most notable trip was summiting Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.  In 2014, she competed at the USA Triathlon National Championships and re-qualified in 2015 and 2016.

Kwasnik earned her bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2010.
