TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Illinois Tech women's tennis program faced a tough test on Saturday, opposing defending HCAC champion Rose-Hulman. Tech hung in the match against RHIT, but fell 5-4.
How it Happened
- Illinois Tech won two out of three doubles. The #1 tandem of Weronika Halicka and Morgan Colbert remained unbeaten, winning 8-2. The #2 duo of Jennifer Young and Sophia Nelson won 8-6.
- In singles, Weronika Halicka won in the singles spot 6-1, 6-0.
- #2 singles player Colber won 6-3, 4-6, 7-6.
